The Road Less Traveled

One of the best parts about traveling through life with others is that they help you see things you hadn’t even noticed. This Summer, while I (Jason) was busy building a fire, Shelly looked to her left and gasped. I looked up, expecting to see a bear. Only then did I notice the incredible rays of light as they fell on this isolated dirt road. A dirt road that branches off of Goat Run Honey Fork Road. I’m not making that up. Goat Run Honey Fork Road really exists just outside of Ohio’s beautiful Hocking Hills State Park.

The light lasted for only a handful of seconds, and then it was gone. Without her, I wouldn’t have even noticed.
