When James was ready to pop the question to TiJah, he brought her to the Falls of the Ohio, the scene of their very first date. We had to act for a while like random landscape photographers who were REALLY interested in the flooded Ohio River 😅 but we managed to be in the right place at the right time to capture this once-in-a-lifetime moment with the city of Louisville in the background.
One of the most remarkable things about the evening was how dramatically the light shifted within the span of one hour—from dark gray skies and snowflakes to a parting of the clouds and the golden rays of a Winter sunset. It was a stunning way to cap off a beautiful occasion. Congratulations, TiJah and James!
