Athabasca Falls in Canada’s Jasper National Park is in serious contention for my favorite place on earth. It’s hard to imagine a better background than the one naturally provided by Mount Kerkeslin and the constant thunder that results from this 80 foot drop into a very narrow canyon is absolutely mesmerizing. Athabasca Falls: a must-see if you ever have even the slightest chance.
