Located along the Icefields Parkway in Canada's Jasper National Park, the Sunwapta River abruptly drops 60 feet through a narrow gorge. Sunwapta is a Stoney language word that means "turbulent water."
It's harder on the camera once the sun sinks behind the mountains, but that's when the wild things come out to play.
