In the Summer of 2017 on a HOT day in Georgia, I stumbled onto a fun photo trick. With the right light and a really fast shutter-speed, flowers take a pretty stunning in-camera bow. My flower-loving, florist-working daughter routinely brings "throwaway" flowers home from the shop. She tells me this is a Free Spirit Rose. It might have been "too-far-gone" to sell at closing time, but it made for a pretty subject as the sun was setting this evening.
