On a leaf-peeping drive a couple weeks ago, Emma and I discovered the Ox Fork Baptist Church building, dating back to 1823. The old white walls resting in a sea of natural color reminded us of a scene from Little House on the Prairie.
East Tennessee isn’t the only place to see beautiful waterfalls in the Volunteer State. Cummins Falls on the Blackburn Fork River in southern Jackson County is well worth the hike (and small permit fee to access the gorge).
